Oldest son of Frank & Anna (Kohoutek) Sabatka Sr. Born and raised in Cass co., Nebraska. Joseph and his wife "(Toni)" married in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, he worked for the Union Pacific railroad while living in Omaha, Nebraska. After 1920's, They first moved to South Dakota to farm surviving the dust bowl years there. They later sought their fortunes in San Diego in the late 1950's. and finished their lives here in California.
