Mrs. Ada P. Gibson, 87, 1806 E. Dudley, widow of Charles E. Gibson, died early today at Ball Hospital following an extended illness.
Mrs. Gibson was born in Owensboro, Ky., and resided in Evansville and Terre Haute before coming to Muncie in 1934.
Surviving are a brother, Otto Hayden, Grandview; four grandchildren, Mrs. Shane (Georgia) McClellan, Paul Gibson and Robert Gibson, all of Muncie, and Donald Gibson, Florida; 11 great-grandchildren, two nieces and three nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Meeks Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. Roy Lee will officiate. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today or an hour prior to services Thursday. Interment will be in Gardens of Memory.
