Ada Jones Brecheen
FORT WORTH -- Ada Jones Brecheen, 67, of Baird and formerly of Fort Worth, died Wednesday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Brecheen was born in Washington, Okla., and lived in Fort Worth most of her life. She worked as a beautician and taught classes at Haltom Beauty College for many years. She moved to Baird in 1990. She was a past president of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the Knights of Pythian, Order of the Eastern Star, Rebbecas, Calvary Baptist Church in Fort Worth and the Baird Assembly of God. She was the widow of Billy Joe Brecheen.
Survivors include one son, Wayne Jones of Baird; two daughters, Sue Dunn of Fort Worth and Beth Huffstetler of Abilene; three stepdaughters, Margie Arredondo, Eva Mae Pedroza and Peggy Ramos, all of Fort Worth; two brothers, Louie J. Troutman Sr. of Fort Worth and James R. Troutman Sr. of Arkansas; two sisters, Velma Jean Findley and Mary Ann Troutman, both of Fort Worth; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
