Donald W. Hartshorn, 77, of 1216 49th St., West Des Moines, died of a heart attack Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be graveside at 2:30 p.m. today in Glendale Cemetery.
Mr. Hartshorn was born in Beacon and lived in the Des Moines area most of his life. He retired after 26 year as a welder for Waldinger Corp. and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers union.
Surviving are his wife, Marie; and two sisters, Lois Masters of Des Moines and Eva Lee of Colfax, Calif.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are being handled by Westover Funeral Home.
