Marvin Dale Honeycutt, 39, of 68 Azalea Lane, Burnsville went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 20, 2012. A native of Yancey County, he was a son of Rita Whitson Honeycutt of Burnsville and the late Miller Honeycutt.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, is a sister: Nancy Honeycutt Davis of Morganton; and a brother: Raymond Honeycutt of Falls Church, Virginia. Marvin was also known as "Papaw" to Cadence and Riley Parker.
Burial will be in the Academy Hill Cemetery.
