Emerson P. Quick
Emerson P Quick, 80, of 401 Peter St., Fountain Springs, died
Friday at Ashland Regional Medical Center.
He served as a Butler Township supervisor for 12 years and was
a former township police officer.
Born in Hummelstown, May 13, 1914, he was a son of the late
John and Elizabeth (Weinreich) Quick. He formerly worked
for the Reading Railroad.
He was a member of Christ Congregational church, Fountain
Springs, Fountain Springs Fire Company. Pennsylvania Chiefs
of Police Association, Northeast Chief of Police Association,
50-year member of Ashland Elks Lodge 384.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lesley, Ross, and Wilmer.
Surviving are his wife, the former Elma Dimler; a daughter Gail
Miller, RD1 Ashland; a sister, Ann Athon, Lancaster; two step-brothers,
Clair and John Quick, both of RD2 Ashland; two step-sisters,
Stella Bolich, Mowry, and Peg Helwig, Middletown; a grandson; nieces
And nephews.
Services will be held at 11 am Tuesday from Kull-Heizenroth Funeral
Home, Ashland. The Rev Joseph Long will officiate. Interment will
Be in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs.
