Miss Mary Maringo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Maringo, of Amasa, was united in marriage with Mr. Thomas Jackovatch, of Minnesota. They were married by Reverend Father Kunes of Crystal Falls, at the Catholic church Monday morning. Celia Zelenick acted as maid of honor, and Harry Michel as best man. Rose Wallick was bridesmaid, and her partner was John Philips.
The bride was dressed in white, her dress being of white satin and tulle trimmed with pearls. She wore a veil and carried a large bouquet of pink and white roses. The maid of honor wore a dress of flesh pink chiffon.
A big dinner was served at the home of the brides parents. Everybody was invited to the good time that followed. They will take a short trip to Houghton and then return to Amasa where they will live in the future. The many friends of the young couple wish them good luck.
