Amy Leavitt Jacobsen, age 91, passed away on Dec. 13, 2012 at Banner Churchill Community Hospital with her family by her side. Amy was born June 17, 1921 in Bunkerville, Nev. to Charles and Lillie May Leavitt. Amy has lived in Fallon since 1971 raising her children, and volunteering her time. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Amy was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara; son, Paul; husband, Jack; husband, Hal; parents, Charles and Lillie May; twelve brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Charles Austin Leavitt (Lynn) of Danville, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Gina Jacobsen of Reno, Nev.; daughter, Sandra Lee Serrano of Sparks, Nev.; and daughter, LuDene Miller (Everett) of Fallon, Nev.; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and two great grandchildren on the way.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at 10 a.m. with funeral following at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 750 W. Richards St. She will be laid to rest in Bunkerville, Nev. on Dec. 21, 2012.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Amy's name to Fallon-Churchill Fire Dept., P.O. Box 861, Fallon, NV 89407.
