Philomena was born June 14, 1907 in Cleveland, Ohio the first of 13 children John & Jenny (nee Iacobucci) Del Zoppo. She had brothers John, Clarence, Louis, Michael, Anthony and Alex and sisters Josephine, Clara, Carmela and Suntine.
She married Anthony Gross April 2, 1932 in Cleveland and had an only son George. Philomena was a homemaker and never worked outside the home.
They were living at 20161 Miller Ave. in Euclid prior to her death.
She was 64 when she passed away on April 25, 1971 from ovarian cancer and eventual heart failure at Euclid General Hospital. Services were held at Holy Redeemer Church on April 28th. Tony passed away 16 years later on Feb. 25, 1985 at age 88 at Euclid General Hospital from a pulmonary embolism. Services were held at Holy Redeemer Church on Feb. 28th. Both are buried at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, OH.
