She was born May 12 in Tarentum, Pennsylvania the daughter of Matthew and Ursula (Spanial) Luknis and moved to this community as a child. A loving and caring mother, grandmother, wife and homemaker, she was a lifelong member of St. Stephen Church.
Rose is survived by two sons, Steve Caruso of Howland, Albert (Cathy) Caruso of Vienna; three daughters, Rosemarie (Al) Ondich of Hubbard, Kitty (Bob) Maniatis of Howland, Nancy Caruso of Austintown; six grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen A. Caruso who died on Jult 2, 2001; daughter, Gloria Marek; five brothers, Frank, Adam, Joseph, Matthew, Andrew; three sisters, Clementine Malie, Ann Bordell, Mary Girard and a great grandchild.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
