Ralph Bozard, Binghamton, formerly of Allegany and Wellsville, died at City Hospital in Binghamton today (March 1, 1954) after being in poor health for many years.

He was born in Humphrey, N.Y., Sept. 24, 1888, and for many years operated a funeral home in Wellsville. He was graduated from the Collier School of Embalming Technique in New York City. In recent years, he had lived in Binghamton, but resigned his position there because of ill health.

Mr. Bozard was a member of the First Baptist Church in Olean, and of the I.O.O.F. Lodge in Allegany. His parents, Mr. And Mrs. A.L. Bozard lived for many years on the Five Mile in Allegany. His wife, Mrs. Anne Conhiser Bozard died in 1922.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wallace Wilson, Kenmore, and Mrs. Harry Hellander, West Branch, Bradford; two sisters, Mrs. Iva Hale, Olean and Mrs. Kitty Riehler, Allegany; three granddaughters, Miss Carolyn Wilson, Kenmore, Miss Marsha Ann Hellander and Miss Sandra Kay Hellander, West Branch, Bradford, and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
