Funeral Services Were Held Monday For R. L. McNeill:

Funeral serviced were conducted yesterday afternoon for Robert Lee McNeill from the First Methodist Church with Rev. Odell, Methodist minister officiating.

The deceased was born July 27, 1867 in Tennessee and had been living in Floyd County for a number of years, having moved here from Denton, Texas. He resided with his family in the Fairview Community until about seven years ago when he moved to Dougherty, after which three years ago he moved with his family to the Campbell Community. He died Tuesday afternoon at five o'clock following an illness several years. He has been confined to his bed for the past sixty days.

Survivors include; his wife, six draughters and three sons, all of whom were present when he died. The daughters are: Mrs. Sebron Summers, Miss Grace McNeill and Miss Thelma McNeill, all of Lubbock; Misses Opal, Annie, and Mrs. Maud Hawk, all of Floyd County. The sons include: Carl and Jack both of Denton and Vollie of Campbell.

F. C. Harmon Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.

Mrs. McNeill and her nephew, Bill, attended the funeral services held in Denton Monday for a sister of the deceased.
