"Former Hawarden Resident Dies In California - Tillie Katje, nearly 80 years of age, who lived in Hawarden many years before moving to California, died at Artesia, Calif., on December 2. Her first marriage was to Mr. De Yager. After his death, she married Mr. Kolthof. Her last marriage was to Mr. Katje, who also preceded her in death. Among the survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Tony Kamstra, former rural Hawarden resident now in Artesia, and Mrs. Gerrit Otten of Alcester, who attended the funeral, and a son, Sam De Yager of Lebanon."
