THE PARIS NEWS Sunday, January 18, 1953: 'The funeral of Mrs. Ada Caroline Rakestraw, 906 E. Austin St. will be conducted Sunday at 2 pm at Fry & Gibbs Chapel by the Rev. John C. Smith and Dr. E. A. Hunter, Methodist district superintendent. Burial will be made in Union Grove Cemetery, and pallbearers will be Felix Cunningham, Jr., J. S. Churchwell, Lois Nowell, A. D. Oates, Frank DeWeese and R. L. Stapleton. Mrs. Rakestraw, widow of Henry Rakestraw, died at home early Friday.' Double marker with Henry J. Rakestraw.
