She was born Oct. 14, 1932, in Nogo, Ark., to Thomas Jefferson and Bertha Raines Ford. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Troy Bridges; three brothers, Elson, Ollison and Loy Edison Ford; and one sister, Stella Austin.
She is survived by one son, Alfred Bridges; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Ann and Barry Roeper; two brothers, Lewie and Troy Ford; three sisters, Ava Smith, Shelby Jean Ragland, and Rosey Collins; and four grandchildren.
Burial is private in Nogo Cemetery by Shinn Funeral Service.
The visitation room will be open until 9 tonight at the funeral home.
