Heinrich "Henry" and his bride Caroline followed his brother Reverend Simon Reimann to Washington State. They farmed in the Quincy area where the children were born except for the youngest, Ernst. Later, the family moved to a farm near Walsh, Alberta, Canada.

Heinrich, born August 10, 1876, in Polotsk, South Russia, (Bessarabia) was the second son of Andreas Reimann and Katherin Hohn. The family settled in South Dakota, in 1880. Heinrich married February 22, 1903, to Caroline Brenner.
After farming in Washington State until 1912, the family settled on SE 29-09-01-04, 15 miles south of Walsh, Alberta. Theopile, age eight, Elsie, age six and Alvin age one, made the move along with their parents.
Henrich and Caroline retired in October 1939, into Medicine Hat, Alberta. Their son Alvin purchased the farm.
