WATKINSVILLE [Oconee Co.]—Ludie Belle Hall, 79, died Sunday, September 7, 2003. A native of Oglethorpe County, she was a daughter of the late James Benton and Hattie Brooks Alford and was preceded in death by a son, James Lowayne Hall.

She was a homemaker and a member of Whitehall Baptist Church since 1954.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 9, 2003, at 2:00 PM at Whitehall Baptist Church. Rev. Buford Lockman will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, James Dewey Hall; daughter and son in law, Barbara Hall and Charles Ray Cannon of Watkinsville; sons and daughters in law, Willie Dewey (Bill) and Rita Hall of Arnoldsville, Jimmy Don and Carlene Hall, Grover Daniel and Teresa Hall, all of Watkinsville, Carl Clinton and Vickie Hall of Eastville; eighteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Lord & Stephens, East is in charge of arrangements.
