AYALA, DIODORA,, 73 Belleview - Diodora Ayala, 73, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2007 at home. A native of Bayamon, Puerta Rico, she came to Belleview in 1996 from Brentwood, L.I., NY and was a retired nursing assistant. Mrs. Ayala's entire career was spent with Pilgrim State Hospital, Brentwood, L.I., NY with whom she worked for 37 years. Diodora was a member of First Assembly of God Church of Belleview.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Elias T. Ayala (7/19/04) and a brother, Jessie Ortiz, of Brentwood, L.I., NY.
Friends will be received on Thursday, January 18th from 10AM to 12 Noon and from 5-8PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala where chapel services will be held at 11AM on Friday, January 19th with Pastor Carl Thompson of First Assembly of God of Belleview officiating. Viewing will also be on Friday from 9-11AM and interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens..
