Janie Chambless, 58, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, in Grapevine. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at The Hills Church of Christ. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Janie was born Dec. 21, 1953, in Fort Worth. She worked for Southwestern Bell from 1979 until her retirement in 2009. Janie was a longtime member of The Hills Church of Christ and also volunteered for The Women's Center Rape Crisis and Victim Services. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Margaret Chambless. Survivors: Sons, Tommy Page and wife, Katie, John Chambless, and Nathan Chambless and wife, Brittany; grandchildren, Hunter and Alexandria Page, and Gage Parnell Chambless; brothers, Jim and Charles Chambless; and sisters, Nancy Cave, Terri Alcedo and Vickey Cochran.
