PASTOR WARREN KESTON CREGGER

Pastor Warren Keston Cregger, 85, of Shady Spring, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010.
Born July 10, 1924 at Cripple Creek, VA; he was the son of the late Andrew Jackson Cregger and the late Bertha Niece Cregger.
Warren loved to hunt, fish, and golf. He was a lifelong Pastor in the Churches of God. He was the Pastor at the Ghent Church of God, Isaban Church of God, where he built a sanctuary, and the Weyanoke Church of God.
He served his country proudly in the US Merchant Marines and US Navy during WWII.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jack, Pete, Homer, Harles; sister, Helen, and a half brother Randolph.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Margaret Cook Cregger; two sons, Roger Dale Cregger of Versailles, Indiana and Rev. Darryl K. Cregger and wife, Nancy of Sophia; special granddaughters, Kalah Christian of Sanford, NC and Jillian Christian of Lynchburg, VA; a sister and a brother also survive.
Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Beckley with Pastors Phill Farrington, Stanley Metz, and F.D. Sexton officiating. He will be laid to rest following the services in Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley.
Friends may gather with the family from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
