Mr. Dyer was born November 1, 1921 at Webbers Falls, the son of Robert Allen and Mary Aleen (Weaver) Dyer and died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Jack C. Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Muskogee. He attended schools at McIntosh School south of Webbers Falls. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on September 30, 1942 and was discharged on February 7, 1946. He married Berdise Maxwell on May 7, 1948 in Van Buren, AR. He was a farmer-rancher and a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a life member of the VFW Post 4609 Gore-Webbers Falls, and Earnest Anthis Post 7 in Muskogee. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Dyer; sister, Beatrice McKinnon; and a nephew, Robert Ray Dyer.
