On March 28, 2013 I located the Samuel Reuben Roark Cemetery in Macon County, TN. With the help of Miss June at the Macon County Historical Society in Lafayette, TN who knew a man that met me and guided me to the cemetery.

It is located on the rear part of a private home's lot and is best to obtain permission to go on the property.

The cemetery is generally abandonded, very very old and all the gravestones have been deteriorated and knocked down. The photos show that there is not much left to see if you visit. None of the gravestones have any readable inscriptions.

It has beern brought to my attention that Samuel and Rebecca's first son, Daniel Roark, born 1/11/1812
, died 7/16/1864, Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., ARkansas. Daniel married three times, # 1Mary Ann Fishburn on 5/16/1832, Allen Co., Ky. # 2 Elizabeth in Missouri, she died in Benton Co., Arkansas# 3 Sarah Henley, 11/20/1857. Would that I had his place of burial , I could add him to the children of Samuel and Rebecca Tudor Roard. Connie Sims # 47363947
