Mrs. Lydia Sturgis Adcock, aged 74 years, died at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the home of her niece, Mrs. E. C. Bellen, 510 E. Walnut St, where she had been since early last spring. She was one of 9 children born to J. C. and Lydia Sturgis and was born in Crawford County on February 8, 1852. Her girlhood was spent in Ashtabula Co, OH, where she was married. Her husband passed away over 20 years ago since which time she had resided at Orlando, FL. Besides the niece at whose home she passed away, Mrs. Adcock is survived by one sister, Mrs. Luella Getz of Orlando, FL. She was a memberof the M.E. church in Orlando and held in high esteem by all who knew her. Services will beconducted from the Bellen residence at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Rev. Earl Tomlin, pastor of the First Baptist church officiating, and the interment will be made in Sunnyside Cemetery.
