REUBEN MILLER HERREN, 90, passed away Thursday, October 8, 1998.
Mr. Herren was born on February 25, 1908, in Dadeville, Alabama. He honorably served his nation during WWII, ultimately attaining the rank of First Lieutenant. Graduated from the University of Alabama and Alabama Law School, and practiced law in that state during the 1930s. Resided in Harlingen, Texas, where he worked as Manager of a real estate office. He continued in both residential and commercial real estate in Houston, where he worked from 1953 until his retirement in 1990. Member of South Main Baptist Church. Devoted to his relatives, Mr. Herren leaves nephews and nieces, including H.B. (Annie), Thomas (Lynn), Marilee (Mike), Emily (Brice); numerous additional great-nephews and nieces. Graveside Service and Interment: 1:30 pm, Saturday, October 10, 1998, at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
