CROUCH, Mrs. Rossie Ashby, 71, a resident of Lewisburg Highway, Fayetteville, and a housewife, died Monday (May 15, 1995) at her residence. Mrs. Crouch was a native of Lincoln County, the daughter of the late Horace J. and Annie Elizabeth West Campbell. She was a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Shirley Crouch of Fayetteville; two children, Randy Ashby of Fayetteville, and Debby Ashby Sain of Hillsboro; two stepdaughters, Terrie Telford of Fayetteville and and Sherrie Howard of Sparta; a stepson, David Crouch of Huntsville, Alabama; two sisters, Mrs. Inez Lewter and Katherine Talley, both of Fayetteville; two brothers, Charles and Johnny Campbell, both of Fayetteville; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon (May 17) at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Mankin officiating. Interment followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Higgins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
