Union. Oliver French 74 of the Lucerne community near Decatur died Thursday morning in Laird's hospital. He was a member of the Lucerne Methodist Church.
Services were scheduled at 4 p.m. today in the Lucern Methodist Church with Rev. J. E. Holder officiating. He was to be assisted by Rev. Cebert Killen and burial was to be in the church cemetery. Stephens Union Funeral home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace French: four daughters, Mrs. Flososie Cooksey and Mrs Jean Donesoe, both of Jackson, Mrs. Mary Leach, Atlanta, Ga and Mrs. Johnnie Thomas, Clinton; seven grandchildren: one great grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Nina Brown, Conehatta and two brothers, Daniel and Lester French, both of Decatur
