Elizabeth Frances Green Layman, the daughter of Zachariah Isaac Green and Mahetable "Hattie" Bell Glasscock, was born September 24, 1848 in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. She married James Edmond "Ned" Layman, the son of Gideon Layman and Margaret Deweese, about 1873.
