Sarah L. Klees , 78, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Kendallville, IN, Sarah worked as a Registered Nurse and for Marco Island Lutheran Church for 10 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church and Tri Kappa. Sarah was a big Hoosier and Cubs fan, loved knitting and crocheting, and was passionate about volunteering and helping others. Surviving are her son, Stephen (Karen) Klees of Southlake, TX, daughter, Rebecca Stirling of Ann Arbor, MI, daughter, Beth (Mitchell) Steury of Fort Wayne, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister, Alice (Max) Robart of Fort Wayne, brothers, Thomas (Dinah) Grubb and Carson Grubb, both of Galesburg, MI, and several nieces and nephews. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Talitha Grubb, husband Rev. Theodore Klees, and son-in-law, James Stirling. Service is at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Trinity English Lutheran Church, Krauss Chapel, 405 West Wayne Street with calling 1 hour prior. Rev. Dr. Kathleen Haller officiating. Calling at - D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Monday, December 17, 2012 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to the Trinity English Lutheran Church or Saint Francis School of Nursing.
