Sandra Mees, 65, Bismarck, died Feb. 26, 2009. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, at First Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Allen Wagner officiating. Burial will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
Sandra Marie was born Dec. 2, 1943, in Richardton, the daughter of Herman and Elsa (Brecht) Mees. She was very giving in her many years of service at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center working as a CNA. Sandra spent time caring for her mother and always enjoyed time with her family - her brothers, her sister and her many nieces and nephews.
Sandra was a passionate pet owner, caring for her many dogs and cats she had throughout her life; pets that were not only animals to her, but family as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Herman, LaDarana, Selkirk and Hillard; and her nephews, Cory and Arlin.
