She was born on March 30, 1922, in Sidney, Mont. to Rev. Harry Verl Heimburger D.O. Ph.D., and Eulalia Blake Heimburger as the first of three daughters. She passed peacefully into the afterlife in her home of 60 years on the morning of Feb. 11, 2007. On Nov. 9, 1941, she married Lemuel Hetfield Allen Jr. and remained with him as a loving and supportive homemaker and wife for 58 years until his death in January 2000. During their time together, Mary Jane gave birth to five children; Barbara Elizabeth, Charlotte Eulalia, Fawn Linnette, Juanita Lea, and Robert (Bert) Lemuel. Of these, Charlotte gave her one grandchild, Katie Marie, and Fawn gave her two, Terresa Arlene, and Daniel Jacob (Jake). Of these, Terresa gave her five great-grandchildren, Jake gave her two, and Katie gave her two. Her sisters, Harriet G. and Ellen Roberta as well as her children and their descendents are all living.
