Billy Eugene Lietch, 70 years, passed away on December 12, 2012 at his home from a long illness.

Billy was born August 2, 1942 in Ava, MO to Oscar and Ellen (Jennings) Lietch. He graduated from Ava High School.

Billy was a lifelong resident of the Ava community.He was retired from working for over 20 years at Baxter Laboratories in Midway, AR.

In November of 1965 Billy and Carol Prine were united in marriage at Gainesville, MO. Billy was a Veteran and served with the Army Reserves. Billy was a Christian. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and mechanical work.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charlie Lietch and one sister, Elva Britton.

Billy is survived by his wife, Carol Lietch, Ava, Mo and a step-son, Tim Prine also of Ava and one sister, Margie Phipps, Oregon and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Billy will be Monday, December 17, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at the Walnut Grove Cemetery off of A Highway south of Ava. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Vinson. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
