A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Arlington and Louise Christine Williamson Gladwell. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Charlie Wiggins, who died in December 1971; her second husband, John Harvey Edwards, who died in November 1973; and her third husband, Conley Wiggins, who died in March 1987. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Terry Lee Wiggins.
She was a homemaker and a member of Wells Grove Baptist Church. She was a former member of Macon County Home Demonstration Club and participated in Maco Crafts.
She is survived by a daughter, Gerri W. Dunne and husband Michael of Alpharetta, Ga.; and a son, Charles Wiggins Jr. and wife Christina of West Palm, Fla.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 10, at 11 a.m., in the Chapel of Bryant Funeral Home. Rev. Johnathan Wolf officiated.
Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers were Max Gladwell, Bill Bryson, George Roper and John Wiggins.
The family received friends Sunday, Jan. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Bryant Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Moody Farm Ministries, 2127 Iotla Church Rd., Franklin, NC 28734.
