James was a decorated veteran of WWll, U.S. Army. He received a Purple Heart and two Oak Leaf Clusters. He served in France, England, Germany and Belgium.
He served in the Lords Army for 40 years as a Preacher in the Christen Church. Serving as pastor in more than 1 church at a time, rotating Sunday services.
He married Margaret Bishop on May 3 1945 and to this union 2 children were born.
He died of cancer after a long illness.
