Dickens — Graveside services for Clydie Odelle Goss, 88, of Dickens will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at the Afton Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Burton officiating. Services are under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

She died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, in Lubbock. Mrs. Goss was born Jan. 25, 1915 in Dickens County to Clad and Ellen Newcomb Bradford. She was a lifetime resident of Dickens County. She married Rector A. Goss on Dec. 28, 1936 in Roaring Springs. He preceded her in death in 1996. She was a housewife and a Methodist.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lora Williams and three grandchildren, Ginger Ryals, Jason Swaim and Vicky Williams. She is survived by a son, Rick Goss of Dickens; a daughter, Norma Fitzgerald of Spur; a sister, Mildred Woods of Dickens; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
