Elizabeth Magers, 89, of Kirbyville, Texas, died December 10, 2012 in Kirbyville.

A native of Naples, Texas and a former resident of Dallas and Santa Fe, Texas she had lived the past 20 years in Jasper, Texas.

A loving wife and mother she enjoyed crafts and was an accomplished seamstress and crocheter. She loved birds and formerly raised parrots and cockatiels.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Sue Musgrove and Debra Lorene Tyler; sister Naomi Reed; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a great great grandson.

She was predeceased by her parents Wilce and Pearl Ballard, husband of 47 years Edmond McLain Magers, and a daughter Dianne Alexander.

Burial: Evergreen Cemetery, Jasper, Texas

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
