AUSTINTOWN – Ann Terlecky Buch, 92, passed away Wednesday evening at Carrington South Health Care Center. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ann was born on Nov. 18, 1913 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John and Mary Terlecky. Terlecky and was a graduate of Vienna High School.
She was a homemaker and also worked several jobs, retiring in 1974 from the Austintown Board of Education as a worker in the Frank Ohl Junior High School library.
Mrs. Buch was a member of the Western Reserve United Methodist Church in Canfield. She enjoyed playing duplicate bridge and attained master's status in the game.
Ann leaves two sons, Alan "Denny" (Jane) Buch of Chautauqua, N.Y. and John Buch of Austintown; three grandchildren, Amy, J.T., and Peter; two great-grandchildren, Cole and Madison Jane; three brothers, Michael Terlecky and Harold (Shirley) Terlecky, both of Florida, and Walter (Rhea) Terlecky of Austintown; several nieces and nephews; and her caretaker for 13 years, Nina Kalitich, who's friendship and care Ann enjoyed immensely.
Her husband, Peter Buch, whom she married Oct. 16, 1937, died April 17, 1971. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Terlecky, and a sister, Catherine Burnich.
Family and friends may call from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will follow services at Crown Hill Cemetery in Vienna.
