WHITEFIELD - Helen Yvonne Hinckley passed away on Dec. 7, 2012. Helen was born in Gardiner on Aug. 15, 1936, to George and Mildred Huntington.
Mom enjoyed spending time with family doing crossword puzzles and watching old TV shows, wrestling, listening to country music and collecting knick knacks. She will be remembered for her fondness of old memories and her love of a good cup of tea.

Helen was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Hinckley; her parents; her daughter, Rebecca; her brother, Cedrick; and sisters Louise, Elsie, Mary, Rita and Carol.

Helen is survived by her children, David and Linda, Billy and Annie, Pat and Dottie, Jenny and Leroy, Diane and Tim, Ronnie and Sandra, Debbie and Brian, Stanley and Melanie, and Pam and John; two stepsons: Chester and Junior; 25 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren; brothers Francis, Ivan and Manly; many nieces, nephews.

Helen was also predeceased by by her longtime partner, Gary "Tank" Brayall; and "Charlie" Ronald Stanley Christie; and many special friends.

Burial will be in Putnam's Cemetery in Pittston on Route 126. (Kennebec Journal 12/11/2012)
