She was office manager for Burgess Marketing in Waco for 20 years. She was director for White Rock Cemetery Association. She was a very active member of the First Baptist Church in Elm Mott, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and singing in the church choir.
Survivors: Husband, Lloyd Degges, daughter, Angel Nicosia; sons, Wade, Ron, and Donnie Degges.
