Mrs. Asher died at 3:35 a.m., Sunday, December 9, 2012, at NHC Healthcare.
She was born August 13, 1935, at Elijah, Missouri, to James Thomas "Tommy" Spoon and Snowie Tackitt Spoon. On April 13, 1954, she was married at South Bend, Indiana, to Cecil Marian Asher, who preceded her in death on September 4, 2011. She loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was Aunt Hassel to everyone. Mrs. Asher was a member of the Elijah Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son, Thomas Asher, wife, Tracy, Pomona, Missouri; two granddaughters, Marian Harris, husband, Chris and children, Kayla and Trevor, West Plains, Missouri and Julie Asher and Duane Vogelsmeier and children Mikalah and Makenzie; two sisters, Emilie Joice, husband, Donald, and Donna Mae Spencer, all of Caulfield, Missouri; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Her parents, husband, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dollie and George, precede her in death.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Elijah Cemetery.
