Mrs. Anna B. Swindells, widow of Edward J. Swindells, died Monday in Portland after a lengthy illness. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church in the care of Finley’s Mortuary.
Mrs. Swindells was born in Philadelphia in 1871 and came to Portland in 1912. She was active in affairs of the art museum.
Surviving are her son William, Portland; sisters, Miss Tryphena Baton and Miss Grace Baton, Philadelphia, and two grandsons and three great-grandsons.
Interment will be private.
