"Mr. and Mrs. Ira Emery passed the 63rd anniversarv of their marriage March 27th. Although they reside with their daughter, Mrs. Cromwell Bean, they are both quite well and active for so aged a couple. Mrs. Emery will be 87 next May and yet her eyesight is such that she knits fine lace from thread. Mr. Emery walked to the village and back, a distance of over two miles, his 84th birthday, March 23.
