Jesse "Dale" Kendall was born the youngest of eleven children on September 9, 1938 in French Lick, IN, the son of Earl and Pearl (Wininger) Kendall.
The Lord called Dale, 74 years old, Home on Sunday, December 9 at the IU Health Paoli Hospital, Paoli, IN.
He married Judy Ann Baker on November 2, 1957, daughter of Robert Glenn and Bertha (Strother) Baker. Together, they were blessed with three sons and a daughter.
Dale loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a member of Paoli First Baptist Church.
He was devoted to his family and friends, spending his leisure time fishing, playing music, singing, and all sports involving his beloved Paoli Rams.
Dale also owned and operated JD Kendall Piano Tuning & Service since 1978, and was a retired Chef.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Kendall of Paoli, three sons, Jeffrey Dale, Sr. (Shareleen) and Paul Douglas (Robin) of Paoli, and Robert "Bobby" Earl (Lisa) of Indianapolis.
Also surviving Dale is a brother, Kenny Kendall of Daytona Beach, FL, a sister, Carletta Cook of Linton, IN, a son-in-law, Charlie "Chuck" Martin (Karen) of Columbus, IN, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and mother-in-law, Bertha Baker Dobbins of Paoli, IN.
Those preceding Dale in death was his daughter, Barbara Ann (Kendall) Martin of Columbus, IN on May 4, 2010; his parents; six brothers, John, Floyd, Dwight, Tom, Harold and Carl; and two sisters, Thelma Qualkenbush and Pauline Tussey.
Brothers Phillip Andry and Ron McClintock officiated at the Wednesday service at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home (226 W. Campbell Street, Paoli) on December 12, 2012.
Interment immediately followed at Moore's Ridge Cemetery in French Lick.
