Irene A. Kilpatrick SUFFOLK - Irene Alexander Kilpatrick, 85, passed away Feb. 13, 2011.
Mrs. Kilpatrick, a native of Portsmouth, was the widow of Frank X. Kilpatrick since his death in 1988.
She retired from the Seaboard Airline Railroad as a comptometer operator and later worked as a teacher's aide in the Portsmouth public school system. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Women's Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus No. 418.
She was predeceased by a brother, Richard S. "Bullet" Alexander; and brother-in-law, Anthony Gugliotta.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, in Portsmouth Catholic Cemetery by Father Leo Manalo. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, Suffolk.
