Jean A. Abbott, 79, entered into eternal life December 5, 2012. Daughter of the late David Abbott Sr. and Gertrude (Anderson) Abbott. She is survived by her niece Diane S. Gaynor, nephews, David R. and Arrell K. Abbott, sister in law Eileen D. Abbott, and many great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Naomi Abbott, David Abbott Jr. and Norman Abbott.
She was a member and volunteer at the Phillips Memorial Church in Cranston.
Her funeral service was held on Monday at the Hill Funeral Home, East Greenwich. Burial followed at the East Greenwich Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Phillips Memorial Baptist Church, Cranston, RI.
