Wife of the late Edsil R. Sams. Mother of Edsil R. Sam, Jr. of Harpers Ferry, WV.; Dinah Johnson of Charles Town, WV; Terry Sams of Haymarket, VA; Delbert Sams of Boyce, VA; Norma Burrows of North Carolina; Sarah Plank of Maryland and Tammy Reeble of Oklahoma. Sister of Eleanor Bird of Staunton, VA and Charles Bird of Goshen Pass, VA. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at ADAMS-GREEN Funeral Home in Herndon, VA . Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon, VA.
