Bobby N. Duncan, 77, of South Charleston died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at home after a short illness.

He was preceded in death by his son, Mark.

He was retired from FMC Corporation with 40 years' service. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

He served as a scoutmaster and started the Mountaineer Little League program at Alum Creek, where he coached.
Recently one of the ball fields was named in his honor. He received the Order of the 35th Star Award from the secretary of state for community service. He was a member of Benny Padilla VFW Post 4768, Alum Creek.

He was a Christian and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Eulah Fay Duncan; two daughters and their husbands, Denise and Bill Hannon Jr. of Alum Creek and Kim and Scott Rodeheaver of Cross Lanes; two grandchildren, Andrew Duncan and Stephanie Rodeheaver; and two brothers, Nile Duncan of Charleston and Dexter Duncan of Alum Creek.
