Ida D. Robertson, daughter of Wm. B. Robertson and Hannah Robertson, was born in Indiana on Feb. 1, 1868. Her family moved to Missouri while she was still young, settling near Mansfield, where her father worked on the railroad. Later they moved to the Hartville community, where Ida began to work out in the Garner, Mott, Hunter, Campbell, and other homes in Hartville.

In the fall of 1898 she came to Plato to the home of Dr. Ransom B. Lynch, where she stayed until after the doctor's death in the spring of 1936. She then came to Plato, where she lived until her death on December 6, 1945. She was 77 years, 10 months and 5 days old.

She is survived by two brothers, Charley G. Robertson, of Grove Springs, Mo., and L.R. Robertson, of Lilburn, Mo.; several nieces and nephews, and many, many friends. She was loved by all who knew her.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Earl Sechler, of Springfield, Mo., at the Christian church in Plato, Mo., Sunday, December 9, 1945, at 3:00 p.m. Burial in the Lynch family burial lot under the direction of the Elliott Funeral Home of Houston, Mo.
