Memorial services for Robert Lee "Bob" Collins, Sr., will be held Thursday, March 14, in the chapel of Barham Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Mark Giles and Rev. David Mosley will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Mr. Collins, 78, of Enterprise passed away Monday, March 11. He was a native of Winona, MS., and graduated from Winona High School in 1952, enrolling in the U.S. Air Force, discharging in 1953. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1958 with an A.S. degree in Gas Fuel Technology and began a 40 year career with Mississippi Valley Gas Company, retiring in 1998.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mildred Ann "Micki" Stribling Collins, who died November 20,2012.
Survivors include his son, Robert Lee "Bob" Collins, Jr. and wife Jane Lee Collins of Long Beach, MS., and daughter, Leigh Ann Chandler and husband Dewayne of Enterprise and four grandchildren Collin Chandler, Susanna Collins, Chase Chandler and Joanna Collins.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
