RACHEL PADGETT
WAYNESBURG (Spl.) -- Mrs. Rachel Margaret Padgett, 68, of Route Two Waynesburg died yesterday in Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington following an illness of several weeks.
She was born in Laurel County August 18, 1904, to the late Tom and Susan Hundley. She was a member of Pleasant Point Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Oliver Padgett; two sons, Fred of Waynesburg and Aubrey of Rt. 1 Waynesburg; one sister, Mrs. Lily Young of Hamilton, Ohio; 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Point Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Jenkins and the Rev. Vernon Clark officiating. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
Friends may call at her residence. Barnett Funeral Home here is in charge of arrangements.
