Mr. Andy Lucas met with a very peculiar accident which proved fatal. While dumping a load of grain, he reached over the seat to loosen some grain, the seat tipped and threw him back into the wagon. His right shoulder and side were bruised. He lived a few days past the accident and then passed away. Remains were brought from Holdrege to Shelby on Monday October 8 and laid to rest.
